What is affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a way for websites to earn a small referral fee when visitors click a link and complete an action — such as signing up for a service or making a purchase. The price you pay is never affected by whether a link is an affiliate link.
What we may earn commissions from
- IELTS preparation services — such as IDP IELTS and British Council, when you register for an IELTS test or preparation course through our links.
- Test preparation platforms — such as Magoosh, when you subscribe to a preparation course.
- Student accommodation platforms — such as Unilodgers or Student.com, when you book accommodation through our links.
- Visa consultation services — featured partners on our Visa Guides page may pay a referral fee when you make contact.
- PDF guides — our downloadable country guides sold via Gumroad are our own products.
What we do NOT earn commissions from
- University "Visit website" links — these go directly to official university admissions pages with no affiliate relationship. Universities are listed based on quality and relevance, not payment.
- Visa information — all visa processing times, fees, and requirements are independently researched from official government sources.
Our editorial independence
Universities and information on GlobalCampus are selected and presented based on their relevance and quality for international students. No university or institution can pay to be listed, ranked higher, or featured more prominently in our search results or country pages.
Affiliate relationships only exist with third-party services (test prep, accommodation, visa consultants) — never with the universities themselves.

This disclosure is made in accordance with the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, and equivalent regulations in other jurisdictions.
